I’m in tech week, haven’t slept in ages. The show goes up Friday, and I’m still calling line. eHarmony is sending me emails; did I sign up drunk? Maybe worth looking into. Some Daily reporter interviewed me about the show. She was really easy to talk to, I wonder if she’ll come see it. Booked my ticket to Morocco for winter break; I’m traveling with friends, then solo-ing it in Paris, and meeting family in Delhi.

The ex from high school just dropped me a line on F-book. Hello, it’s been four years, and now you’re coming to Chicago? Went to Old Orchard to pick up some lingerie for the show, and got a snickerdoodle cookie, a Diet Coke, and a mocha. Finished the run at 11 p.m., but I was so strung out, I convinced the cast to go for drinks. Got two towers of Stella and Blue Moon, and a Jameson on the rocks.

I woke up and my voice is shot. Good thing I have to sing on stage tomorrow. I’ve decided to go to L.A. for Winter, learn how to surf, and intern at Focus Features. I can’t wait to take acting lessons with Zach Braff and David Schwimmer’s acting guru. The sweetest thing tonight: This guy texts me “muffin or brownie,” then shows up outside in the cold at midnight, muffin in one hand, brownie in the other.

Watched True Blood in bed. I love vampires so much. Twilight is the biggest blue-balling book I’ve ever read — you can’t read it without being aroused, but you’re never totally satisfied. My show opened tonight. I took off my dress onstage, the lingerie stayed in place, no boob flashing, etc. Great. My butt was out, but you win some, you lose some. Drank and danced til 6 a.m., but that’s a pretty typical night.

I broke the snowglobe prop onstage. I was lucky I didn’t slice my wrists open. We had a three-way cast party between Red Light Winter, Death and the Maiden and The Nursery, which we opened to everyone else around 1:30 a.m. It was definitely the biggest cast party I’ve seen in a while. Got wasted, my friend made me crepes in bed. Love her. So many gorg freshmen at the party — is it wrong to find them hot?

So much for having time now that the show’s over. Those 30 pages for playwriting are due tomorrow. And yet, I still go over to the boy’s house (the one who bakes). He cooks dinner: Chicken (his grandma’s recipe), baguette with melted goat cheese, and a mixed greens salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Then he baked chocolate chip muffins and sent me home with extras.

Skipped chapter. Went to dinner with someone I’m finding myself strangely attracted to. Then got some hot chocolate, only to find I was definitely tipsy later. It was spiked with four shots of Irish crème. What a pleasant surprise! Got in bed and watched True Blood and Californication. I love how finally, my two worlds — theatre and Greek — are coming together. Not colliding, but magnificently blending.
